Quite simply, a Mini Code Breakers club leader is someone who is passionate about teaching and inspiring children in a fun, safe, and engaging learning environment. Your aim is to ignite a passion for coding in children and help them make friends with like minded people while learning to code.
Our coding sessions follow the Mini Code Breakers curriculum, with a focus on inspiration, coding concepts, fun, and creativity. As a code club leader, you will guide students through various coding projects, help them overcome challenges, and celebrate their successes. You will also have the opportunity to develop your own skills, collaborate with other educators, and contribute to the growth of a vibrant coding community.
Code club leaders are responsible for guiding and mentoring children through coding activities. You will also manage classroom dynamics, ensure the safety of all participants, and provide support for any technical issues that arise during the sessions.
The hours of work will typically be 17:00-20:00 Monday to Friday during term time, with extra hours available during holiday periods. This depends on your location and the clubs near you. Minimum of 3 hours per week.
